About an hour ago I went to the gym in Brighton & experienced antisemitism.
A conversation about how dangerous Corbyn was - started by someone else - descended into being told Jews are overreacting & when I tried to centre myself in a conversation on antisemitism I was told that I was biased & ultimately he said, ‘Why should I listen to you just because you’re a Jew?"
I was so stunned that I left before completing my workout & I wish I hadn’t. I wish I had stayed and showed him just how strong Jews are & that antisemites won’t defeat us.
