A spokesman for antisemitism fighting group Labour Against Antisemitism’s director Alex Hearn told the Daily Star that racism and Nazi swastikas are “never a laughing matter”.
He said: “Racism against all minorities and anti-Jewish hate symbols are never a laughing matter. Alcohol is not an excuse for discrimination. Given the the upsurge in antisemitism on campus we hope this will be thoroughly investigated and the individuals involved will receive the appropriate anti-racism training.”
