Statement on Miller's comments

“This recent example of Professor David Miller promoting apparently antisemitic views is just the latest in a long line of concerning incidents. Given his track record, including being suspended by the Labour Party, it is astonishing that the University of Bristol has allowed Professor Miller to continue to teach his dangerous anti-Jewish conspiracy theories to impressionable young students.

Not only is Professor Miller abusing his position to spread his appalling beliefs to the student body, but in doing so he also threatens the safety and well-being of Jewish students on campus.

While the Labour Party is making a tentative start at tackling its own institutional antisemitism, so other establishments such as our universities have a duty of care to review what his happening within their own halls of learning.”
