The annual Pete Newbon Award

LCSCA Pete Newbon Award

Labour Against Antisemitism is honoured to sponsor the 2023 Pete Newbon award, which will be presented annually by the London Centre for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism (LCSCA) to the person who has contributed most to the public understanding of antisemitism.

The award will be presented at the Robert Fine Memorial Lecture at London's Bloomsbury Theatre on 22nd October by LCSCA's director and CEO, David Hirsh, one of the world's leading scholars of contemporary antisemitism.

Labour Against Antisemitism is proud to support LCSCA, as we know Pete would have been. A fellow director of our organisation, his passion for combatting antisemitism, his humour, and his kindness, are sorely missed.
