Bromley and Livingstone withdraw

Statement on the EHRC challenge being withdrawn by Ken Livingstone and Pam Bromley:

"Labour Against Antisemitism are reassured that the EHRC report into antisemitism in the Labour Party remains unchanged and stands in full.

It speaks volumes that this withdrawn EHRC challenge by Ken Livingstone and Pam Bromley was partly crowd funded by disgraced MP Chris Williamson and disgraced academic David Miller, both mired in allegations of antisemitism themselves.

It is understandable that Bromley and Livingstone withdrew their case. Livingstone's well documented behaviour was widely reported and the LAAS submission used by the EHRC was damning and contained details of Pam Bromley's antisemitic posts. Freedom of speech does not mean a mainstream party accepting speech which goes well beyond acceptable discourse."
