Concerns dismissed about Labour antisemitism

Professor Miller

Bristol University failed to uphold complaints

According to the Daily Telegraph ‘Bristol University accused of failing to heed Jewish students' complaints’:

Bristol University dismissed the concerns of Jewish Students about Professor David Miller, a Labour member, who told undergraduates that “ultra Zionist funders are active” in bankrolling hatred of Muslims.

Concerns regarding Professor Miller’s views came to light in Nov 2018 and LAAS reported him to Labour for comments judged antisemitic according to the IHRA definition.

The case was dropped by Labour during a period it is alleged that Thomas Gardiner and Karie Murphy were directly intervening in disciplinary cases.

Last week Professor Miller was hosted in Parliament by Shadow Home Secretary, Diane Abbott.
