Labour Against Antisemitism’s spokesperson Fiona Sharpe said the organisations had ‘overwhelmingly’ denied antisemitism.
She added: ‘The very fact that the Labour National Executive Committee is looking at proscribing these four organisations and the reasoning behind that – because they have represented and perpetuated antisemitism within the Labour Party – is enough.
‘I don’t need to justify that, it’s not my job, it’s the Labour party’s job to make the party feel like somewhere that the Jewish community has a home.’
