Facebook Crackdown on Hate

Facebook's Ban of Holocaust Denial

LAAS Statement on Facebook Banning Holocaust Denial

Labour Against Antisemitism welcomes Facebook’s decision to ban Holocaust denial from its platform. Our researchers have frequently encountered this especially distressing manifestation of antisemitism in the course of their work exposing anti-Jewish racism in the Labour Party.

We hope that this policy will be expanded to include other manifestations of antisemitism, and that other social media platforms, such as Twitter and Tiktok, will soon follow suit.
